I thought you’d all like to see what the inside of Pete Cogle’s Podcast Factory looks like.

  1. The Music Arrives via special transport to the factory
  2. Here we see the various musical shapes being assembled
    • Note: the dub comes in nice round containers, dubstep in slighly more angular ones, and the boxes in the background are pre-packaged pop which is about to be sent back to where it came from.
  3. In the “talk” shows, this is where the “gas” is added
  4. The all important editing takes place here.
  5. Just before the podcast is released we add the extra “cool” to the podcast
  6. Finally this is how we ship the podcast to your iPod or MP3 player

Simples!

London #podcrawl Summer 2010, sponsored by @adnams, attended by podcasters (and their friends). Priceless!

You’ve heard Aram Scaram, aka Citizen Sound on some of my podcasts before, so why not checkout his debut album at soundcloud or reverbnation, or buy it on iTunes? Ay?

Citizen Sound ***Debut Album*** by Aram Scaram

Citizen Sound’s debut album explores early sound system culture and its continuous influence on the music scene worldwide, particularly within the Canadian music scene.  Producer Aram Scaram teams up with some of Canada’s premier singers & musician’s to help bring his home-grown vision to life. The end result is an exciting fusion of dub, reggae, soul & hip-hop that pays tribute to the foundational roots, while simultaneously taking the sound into the future.

The album features Juno winners Blessed, Dubmatix, Prince Blanco, & Richard Underhill, along with contributions from rising stars Ammoye, Treson, Grand Analog & Len Bowen. Accomplished musicians Andrew Thompson, David Buchbinder and Natewize round out the roster of exceptional Canadian talent featured on this release.

Checkout the new EP from Secret Archives of the Vatican. Companion to The Glidepath EP.  Most excellent.

Well worth a visit if you have the time.

I’ve pledged.  Have you?  Great cause. Great music.

My old video iPod, the one that inspired me to take up Podcasting, died the other day. It somehow managed to get overheated and was literally cooked whilst I charged it on the way home in the car!  It was a sad day.

Nevertheless, and undeterred, I have purchased a new iPod Touch, which I’m just starting to get used to.  It’s gorgeous!

As my mother used to say… “as one door closes, another one opens”

Made In Brighton
